kernel parameter stack_guard_gap
Hello,
I'm trying to resolve an issue with Mendeley citation manager and LibreOffice. I found a related issue in a zotero forum https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/... where the suggested solution is to add the "stack guardgap=1" parameter to /etc/default/grub However, the whole solution was proposed for Ubuntu.
My question: does this kernel parameter exist and apply to Fedora 27? If not, are there any other potential parameters?
I can find the kernel parameter here: https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/lates... but I'm unsure if it applies to Fedora.
Many thanks, joerg
It shouldn’t be necessary to tweak the kernel to use a LibreOffice add-on. You should report a bug in your citation manager so they can get their add-on in order.
That's what others (and I) did, but no response so far: http://support.mendeley.com/customer/...
