I think i broke my fedora and I don't know what to do.
It all stated when I installed a libdvdcss manually, and now it won't boot or at least not go to the loggin. It only stops at the fedora load symbol and I don't know what to do. I don't know if I broke it.
We may be able to help you, but we'll need a little more to go on. Which version of Fedora do you have, how did you install that package, have you tried to get to a text console and if so, what happens?
When you see the Fedora logo press the ESC key. You will see a lot of text. What does the last line of text say? It may have a lot to do with the reason for the "stop".
I took an rpm from here ( https://rpmfind.net/linux/rpm2html/se... ) and downloaded (libdvdcss-1.4.1-2.fc27.x86_64.rpm) and just used the terminal command "cp -a" the files into the (usr folder) in the (Files System) and im using fedora 27.
ps: It did played the dvds well, but now it cost me my fedora hard drive. My windows hard drive is still ok.
I did the escape thing and it seems to tell me at least that everything with a security or a firewall failed
Wt#$??? rpm command and dnf has his purposes... Who coherent extract and make "cp -a" you replaced critical directories... solutions:
1) Install again Fedora
2) Expert? copy directories from a Live Fedora 27...
