How can I get my dvd to play videos

My operating system is Fedora 25, so far I cannot succeed in playing my dvds on my computer. When I put them in the machine recognizes that a dvd/cd is in the drive, it turns, shows the name of the dvd/cd, the player opens but after that nothing. What can I do so that it works? Thank you. Mwambuyi

Install the media codecs.

For DVD movies libdvdscss might also be necessary.
