Hi all,

I recently installed Fedora on my computer after using Ubuntu for a number of years so forgive me if my question has an obvious answer. I have a Lenovo Ideapad Y700 with an AMD R9 M375X. For some reason I cannot launch Steam using my dedicated GPU either by right clicking "Launch using Dedicated Graphics" or by using

DRI_PRIME=1 steam

Whenever I try to launch it, it says that Steam is updating and then it unpacks "Steam Runtime" and then closes.. the output from the terminal looks like this:

Installing breakpad exception handler for appid(steam)/version(1513371133)

I have installed Steam as a Flatpak, from UnitedRPMs, and from RPM Fusion and they all have the same problem. I should note that Steam launches just fine using my integrated Intel HD 530.

In case it is helpful, the output of glxinfo | grep 'version' is:

server glx version string: 1.4
client glx version string: 1.4
GLX version: 1.4
Max core profile version: 4.5
Max compat profile version: 3.0
Max GLES1 profile version: 1.1

OpenGL core profile shading language version string: 4.50

OpenGL shading language version string: 1.30
OpenGL ES profile version string: OpenGL ES 3.2 Mesa 17.2.4
OpenGL ES profile shading language version string: OpenGL ES GLSL ES 3.20

Hi, Looks like a bug. Look at DRI_PRIME regression- radeon: Failed to allocate virtual address for buffer.. Can you give it a try to some of the solutions there? Cheers
