Hi guys,

I´m having a lot of trouble right now with my vpn server. Even a new installation of the VPN Server didn´t help. When I execute "sudo dnf install openvpn" and its finished, I can´t start or restart the openvpn service. There isn´t even a service "openvpn" to be found. It looks to me, like the installation isn´t completed yet. The same happens when I use my beloved openvpn installation script. It also failes at the point, where it want´s to restart the vpn service.

Does anyone have the same issue or an idea what could cause that? With F26 I never encountered problems with my VPN installation. Starting with the old kernel doesn´t help either...

Thanks in advance Kind regards

Could you please provide more details like how do you try to start the service and which error messages do you get? Did you read the systemd specific part in the wiki.

The VPN Server service has been renamed to openvpn-server . Please try to configure and start that service.
