Fedora 27 doesn't recognize ThinkPad T420 Display
Fresh install of Fedora 27 from Live USB did not recognize display. My T420 has integrated graphics card Intel HD graphics 3000 with HD+ 1600x900 Display.
I've tried running:
sudo dnf upgrade
to get the latest drivers and then restarted, but no luck.
Output of xrandr:
$ xrandr
xrandr: Failed to get size of gamma for output default
Screen 0: minimum 800 x 600, current 1024 x 768, maximum 1024 x 768
default connected primary 1024x768+0+0 0mm x 0mm
1024x768 61.00*
960x600 0.00
800x600 61.00
Please help point me in the right direction.
Thanks!
Update: Tried to do another clean install, this time using Fedora 27 KDE Plasma Spin and display was successfully recognized. Thus, the issue seems to only exist in the normal Fedora 27 install with Gnome 3.
