What is xorg-x11-drv-ati-7.9.0-3.fc27.x86_64 and should I install it

According to dnf info xorg-x11-drv-ati and the package site, this is the Xorg X11 ati video driver.

There is also xorg-x11-drv-amdgpu. Do you have that one installed?

I do now, thanks to your advice, but I still cannot change the screen resolution, either in gnome or terminal. The gnome setting details show LLVM pipe as the graphics driver.
