Put the menu bar of applications in the top bar of Gnome Shell

Hi, Is there a way to put the menu bar of applications in the top bar of the Gnome Shell ? Like it was the case in Unity ? Thank you.

Also I found this extension but I think it has many useless feature so ّI opened a new issue on its github, hope he create a simple and good global menu

did you read his question carefully? He said: to put the menu bar of applications in the top bar while this extension that you linked just provide a menu of application in gnome. @florian

it doesn't mean that when you see something on macOSX it's just for macOSX. Global menu is a program that only take the menu of programs to the panel to save spaces and for other reasons that it depends on the users and why they want to use global menu so it's a program on desktops whether macOSX whether fedora and others. but note that this is a GUI program that depends on desktop not distroes and OS.

Hi there, i can accept your question. I searched for the same long time and look for it but nothing. Actually that you are refering to is "global menu" and you should search for an global menu extension for gnome if your search hasn't any results too, should ask in gnome IRCs for someone help
