F27 on XPS 15 (9560) no Wayland

I did a fresh install of F27 on my Dell XPS 15. I had to install from the Live USB using the trouble-shooting section and with basic graphics driver. Not sure this is important. I used the loginctl command to verify my GNOME session was using X11. I do not have an option when I log in from GDM to run Gnome XORG, just Gnome and Gnome Classic.

I do not have any Nvidia drivers installed. Looks like I am using the VGA adapter i915.

I would like to try to use Wayland. The display scaling appears to be better. Any ideas? I have to manually set my display scaling to 200% every time I log in.
