I have two laptops and a second display I connect via HDMI (LG M2380A).

On one laptop (running fedora 25) I see the second display just fine with a 1920x1080 16:9 resolution. The output of xrandr -q for the second display is:

XWAYLAND0 connected 1680x1050+1366+0 (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) 510mm x 280mm
     1680x1050 59.85*+

On the other laptop (running fedora 26) I see the second display blurry with the 1920x1080 16:9 resolution. The output of xrandr -q for the second display is:

XWAYLAND0 connected 1680x1050+1920+0 (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) 510mm x 280mm
     1680x1050 59.88*+

the only difference I see is the +1366 vs +1920. What are those numbers, could they be the culprit?

I think this is the offset for the second screen, but I don't think it's related, the blur is probably a font configuration problem. which desktop environment are you using ? GNOME ?
