chromium corrupted display
Since a recent update, my chromium display is corrupted:
- Icons are replaced with red or yellow squares
- Parts of the window are drawn in yellow
I do not have any corrupted graphics issues in any other software.
I tried reinstalling it without success.
I tried several desktop environment: GNOME wayland and Xorg, cinnamon, MATE, Xfce.
I tried reinstalling the graphics drivers, and rebuilding the nvidia kernel module.
More details:
- Fedora version: 26, up to date
- chromium version: 60.0.3112.113
- graphics drivers: nvidia from rpmfusion (xorg-x11-drv-nvidia-340xx 340.102)
What happens when you try
mkdir foobar ; chromium-browser --user-data-dir=foobar
?@MettaCrawler: Same bug, and I get this warning in the terminal:
libpng warning: Application built with libpng-1.6.22 but running with 1.5.28
