Ahoj, dear people.

Apparently ever since an upgrade of the flash-plugin to, it's not able to play sound anymore. How can I fix this?

Or do I need to wait for a new version?

I just manually installed version flashplayer26_0r0_151_linux.x86_64, restarted Firefox, and the sound works with it.

I read in some old threads that clearing flash cache would work, it didn't for me. Also I read that some setting was using the wrong audio output, but I cannot retrace these problems with Fedora 26.

Thanks a bunch!

Have you see this thread?

Thanks, I've seen that thread a while ago, but since it's from 2011 I didn't consider it. It appears to me that Adobe IS updating Flash for Linux, since Firefox would block Flash if it was outdated (which happened often some years ago, but doesn't anymore). I'll give freshplayerplugin a try

You can install "freshplayerplugin"; it uses pepper-flash in Firefox, It works fine in all my machines with F25-F28... You can install it from Rpmfusion or Unitedrpms...

You need remove the flash-plugin in your mozilla directory...
