The two new updates from August 21, 2017 to Fedora 26 Workstation, which are for Gnome 3.24.0 and were in testing updates until now - built for improvement of System's Search experience of the User of Fedora 26 - Tracker and the Gnome-Online-Miners, are collecting very personal data from User's Web browsing activities from the most Main Personal Accounts, like the Google Account, including the open through the Browser Documents form User's Google Drive, and etc., seems to me as a too risky business for it's purpose - to improve Fedora's Search, gambling with too personal data, stored locally!?? And there is not much information of these new updates...

Just read the descriptions of Tracker and gnome-online-miners . Brief descriptions with a little info by . I didn't found even written the word "encryption", as for the locally stored very personal data?...

The worst is that there are no any explanations of these Gnome's new experiment in the FedoraProject's Docs or Wiki! The info is short and frightening, and only on the's wiki pages. Could anyone explain to a frightened Gnome 3.24.3 User on Fedora 26 Workstation, why these updates were in the testing-updates, being written for Gnome 3.24.0 and are coming as regular updates to Fedora, after that so much time, when we are on Gnome 3.24.3... I am maybe a real newby, but all of those official's innovations seem to be too risky, even to be mentioned???
