did you download the .rpm file from here and installed it with something like sudo dnf install ~/Downloads/draftSight.rpm?

"Programs", you mean Gnome Software? Seria melhor usar dnf para instalar o pacote.

do not use gnome-open, just run it typing its name on the command line: $ draftsight

As fcomida said, you might be able to simply run the program as draftsight on the command line.

To find out more about the files in a package, I will frequently run rpm -q -l <name of package>. If just running draftsight doesn't work, try running rpm -q -l draftsight to figure out the name of the program and its location in the file system.

The command rpm -q -l draftsight worked, I guess. But I don't know how to proceed after this. Thank you.

In the output of rpm -q -l draftsight see if there are files installed in /usr/bin or /usr/local/bin (or a similar place). Those would likely be the files to try to execute. Otherwise, you might execute the following to find the executable files:

files=`rpm -q -l draftsight`; for i in $files; do ls -alF $i | grep "\\-..x..x..x"; done

This command records the files from the draftsight RPM in the files variable, performs an ls -alF on each of the files, and prints out only files that everyone can execute, ignoring links and directories. Ignore .so files, they are libraries.

If you have DraftSight correctly installed (use sudo dnf install ~/Downloads/draftSight.rpm after downloading the file), it will end up in /opt/dassault-systemes/DraftSight/.

On my test system, it also created a program starter, so it is easily accessible from Gnome.

From command line you can start it with /opt/dassault-systemes/DraftSight/Linux/DraftSight.

PS: On my test machine (running F25 Gnome on Xorg), the program crashes with the following warning:

Could not parse stylesheet of object 0x3cab5e0
Could not parse stylesheet of object 0x3cab5e0

Sorry, my command had a typo, "/" was missing. I corrected it.

But apparently, you have it installed and it crashes as well upon start. Maybe ask in Dassault forums for support...?

You haven't install it. It is not in the repositories. It is commercial product and unknown if it is available for linux. Search for alternative.
