hi eveyrone,

I have a bit of an odd problem.

I have an OpenVPN setup in which I use ssh keys for authentication.

if I'm in the shell and I run

sudo openvpn --config configfile.conf

the VPN establishes and everything is great.

If I try to launch the VPN from the network manager, it fails out right away. I'm a bit of a noob to Linux so i'm not quite sure where to look for logs... can anyone help?

They are in a folder in my home directory

[08:33:56]esink@esink-fedora1:~/methode$ ls

ca.crt esink-lt.crt esink-lt.key methode.conf ta.key

You need to create a .cert folder on your home and copy cert files inside that folder then use restorecon -R -v ~/.cert that will allow it to work, more information look at

The simple solution for this was setting SELinux to Passive mode.

Do you mean "Permissive" mode? I don't see a passive mode.
