I have installed fedora desktop on my Latitude 7350, however the trackpad (which is windows trackpad enabled) is recognized as a mouse device and not a trackpad device, how can I fix this to enable scrolling and 2 finger click and most importantly disable trackpad while typing

Run less /proc/bus/input/devices and paste the info here that corresponds to the trackpad. Get the event device number out of that info and then run udevadm info --name=input/eventX (replace with the correct event number) and paste the output of that here as well.
