i m unable to open facebook.com

I m new to fedora 16.. i have installed firefox and opera, but I m unable to connect to facebook.com it worked fine the first time I opened it on both the browser, but then it stopped working. thanx.

If you can access other sites like Google, then check whether you are behind a proxy. You may use an online tool like this. If you are behind a proxy, then most probably that proxy is intercepting your requests and blocking access to facebook.

This could also be a DNS issue. Facebook is blocked by a number of countries, organizations, and employers. Needless to say, Fedora does not block access to Facebook or control your environment.
