Menu bar in GNOME Chess and missing features (network game?)
I am using GNOME Chess v3.24.1 and this is how it looks like: (screenshot from help manual)
Directly on the same page of the manual, however, in point 2.3., things are described, which I cannot see:
The menu bar, located at the top of the Main Window, contains the following menus:
No, there is no menu bar… The only options I can see are some settings and info box, etc. (The usual things…) And the screenshot on the same help page, shows the same, so things are a bit contradictory here.
In any case it also talks about "Network Game ( Ctrl+L )". Also pressing this shortcut does not work, i.e. nothing happens. The same applies to the 3d mode mentioned in the help. On Wikipedia I could finally read it has been removed, but it is still mentioned in the help file.
So the questions are: Where is the menu bar? Where are these features? How can one start a network game with GNOME chess?
