While I have tried to login to my scientific Linux system I have found that the screen is showing "started visualization demon" what does it mean?? and it again asks log in id and password but after providing all those again and again I failed to open the desktop of my linux system. How can I able to open my system???? Please help.

You mean "virtualization daemon", right? This has nothing to do with the ability to login. Are you sure that you know username and password? Can you hit CTRL+ALT+F3 and login there?

Thanks for your reply. But sorry to say still I am unable to start my linux system. But while I am pressing ALT+CTRL+F4, I am getting my terminal(with black screen) after providing my log in details. So please help me to open the system in the natural way, or help me to open the desktop.

If I remember correctly, I had the same problem after playing around installing and testing different DEs to my laptop. In the end I ended up messing the whole system and getting the same error. Try reinstalling your DE from rescue mode, that solved it for me.
