I'm trying to install Fedora Workstation 25 to virtual (guest) machine.

When I select "Start Fedora-Workstation-Live-25" option, boot menu disappears and nothing happens afterwards.

Virtual machine is hosted in VirtualBox 5.1.22, has 2 GB RAM and is set as 32-bit machine, virtual HDD is defined as dynamic 14 GB storage. The VirtualBox itself is running on 64-bit Windows 8.1.

Workstation Live ISO is 32-bit as well. Checksum equals to the one that is written at Fedora website, so it's safe to assume that ISO is not corrupted.

Please advice possible troubleshooting steps. Thanks in advance!

Try hitting ESC while you boot so you may see some kernel/OS messages.

This didn't work. All I see is a blinking cursor

There could be many different problems going on here. Have you selected "Check media ..."? Though, I wouldn't even waste more time on that issue, instead:

1.) Go for a supported release (currently F26 and F27) 2.) Choose the x86-64 architecture.

Then try again.

Did you check if the downloaded .iso file isn't corrupt? I had something similar today, the boot menu was showing up, but when running the media test it was failing. Went to download it again and works just fine.
