low disk space warning

I have a seperate partition mounted at "/home", but for some reason the disk usage on this partition is counted in with the "/" partition usage which puts me at a low disk space warning level for the root partition. I have uninstalled gnome-utils which included baobab, but I am still getting warnings. Is there any way to fix this or at least turn the warnings off?

It would point to low disk space when the space in / is almost finished. Can you please post the output of 'df -h'?

What about df and mount output? Is the /home partition mounted conrrectly? If yes, I guess that you're using some hord or soft-links between / and /home partitions.
