casual bitrate in sound converter with m4a

i tried converting some mp3 into m4a with sound converter but everytime i get completely casual bitrates, even if i have 192 kbps set...considering i have all the codecs installed (with commands found in here) does anyone knows how i can solve the problem?(without maybe changing program?)
