How to restore grub entries in new Fedora 25 installation
First hello to everyone here. Thanks for those of you knowledgeable sharing your expertise with new Fedora users.
System is a desktop-- Asus tuf Z270 16GB Ram, NVidia 730 graphics, 3 Benq monitors. Storage is 1 1TB and 1 2 TB spinning drives. Before the Fedora install, Open Suse and Windoze 10 coexisted happily, Windoze on the 1 TB drive and OpenSuse on the 2 TB. I used GPartd to shrink the Open Suse partition to basically half of the 2 TB drive, and then the install program in Fedora 25 to format the 1 TB I opened up by shrinking the Suse partition. Install went beautifully, simple and quick. However on booting , GRUB sees Suse but not Windoze in the menu and when asked to boot Suse, says it cant find it. Looking at Gnome Disks, Suse is there along with the Windoze drive, the disks are bootable. So how do I make GRUB see Windoze (I need it for work unfortunately).....I am not that concerned about SUSE at this point.....
One note. In BIOS settings I have the system set up where it should boot either Legacy or UEFI with UEFI priority.
Any recommendations would be appreciated. I did a search here and the thread on dual booting was for Windoze 7 and an earlier version of Fedora. I tried the CLI commands for GRUB and the output was "no such file" so I am only guessing that the thread was for the GRUB 1 days.
Regards and thanks very much.
