Emergency mode on Fedora 25 after hard shutdown.
I was downloading a music video from YouTube on low battery when the juice gave out and the computer went down. After charging it and powering on I was shown "emergency mode" . I've attempted fixing it the best I know how. (Just the prompts provided: reboot, default, and "ctrl-d to continue".) None of these provided me with anything useful and I just keep seeing the error. The logs arent a help because despite my love for Linux I am not an expert.
Normally the file system gets repaired during boot. Do you know what file system you're using? If not type these two commands and then take a cell phone photo of the screen and post it somewhere; and post the URL for the photo here.
Will do. I'll update in a few hours.
