Dialog Controls Inaccessible On Small Netbook Screen

I'm trying Fedora on an Acer One netbook with a 10.1 inch display at 1024x600 resolution. On large dialog boxes some of the buttons and other text and controls are off the screen and inaccessible. I tried the solution that works on Ubuntu of holding down the ALT key while grabbing the dialog, but that doesn't seem to work in Fedora. What are my options to either get the unruly dialogs to either fit on the screen, or be able to move them so I can access the controls?

I have the same problem. The TAB and arrow keys work, but the controls are not visible making it hard to select the desired control. A (very cumbersome) work-around is to rotate the screen to 600x1040. However, this results in some dialog boxes not fitting because they are too wide.

Probably, scaling the interface fonts down will help. You can scale down all the dialog fonts with gnome-tweaks.

See below, specifically the "Scaling factor" option.

Welcome to ask.fedora. That's an excellent question. In Linux, as in Windows, you can use the TAB key to cycle through the options and buttons, then hit Enter when you're on the right one. If the window you're working on has several tabs, such as most of the control panels do, once the first tab is highlighted, you can use the right and left arrow keys to get to the one you need, then use the up and down arrows to get to whatever check boxes you want to select. I mention this because it will even work if your mouse has stopped responding, allowing you to finish what you were doing and reboot.
