Nux repository manages EPEL Enterprise Linux means Centos or Scientific Linux, it will cause conflicts with Fedora repo and harm your Fedora installation if you want to install vlc use .

If you insist on using Nux please do not post questions here as it will only get the same answer.

The best way to install VLC player is by using RPMFusion :

Go into this website and since your version of Fedora is 25, download and install these packages 1.RPM Fusion free for Fedora 25 2.RPM Fusion nonfree for Fedora 25

Then open up terminal and go into root user by typing su and enter your root password and copy this command :

dnf install vlc and hit enter ;

type "y" to accept installation.

The vlc was compiled with a old libvpx, remove this repository and install it from rpmfusion or unitedrpms...
