FC 25 -- Intel HD drivers not loading after dnf upgrade

asked 2017-04-26 02:55:06 -0500

Hello,

On 25/4/2017 I dnf-upgraded my fedora installation. After that, my system stopped loading intel hd drivers, defaulting instead on Gallium 0.4

My system is a Dell 5378, 7500-u kaby lake, with an integrated intel hd620 video card which used to work flawlessly until yesterday.

Here are some relevant infos:

Ended up reinstalling Fedora 25 and blacklisting Kernel & X11.

For next releases, I'll wait them, burn an USB key and test if they work on my intel card.
