Fedora 17 Insntallation through pendrive- problems
I have made a bootable pendrive for fedora17 using Unetbootin.
Then i restarted my machine, selected my pendrive form the list of booting devices. The fedora selection screen appeared. From there i chose Install or upgrade an existing system.
Soon after that i encountered an error regarding some cache write through error.
Please could you help me?
The detailed error is:-
Some Floppy unavailability error (couldn't note it)
1)copy original to backup
2) copy backup to original
3) no action ?
(no matter what i enter there the following results come)
leaving filesystem unchanged
/dev/sdb1 : 3456 file, 969710/981925 clusters
dracut warning : fsck returned with 1
dracut warning : /sysroot has no proper rootfs layout, ignoring and remoing offending mout hook.
can't mount root file system
dropping to debug shell
dracut:# (kept blinking here for some time)
Asking for cache data failed
assuming drive cache: write through.
then it repeats the above two lines and nothing else happens.
