WiFi "flickers" on and off
A few days ago my Wifi began to switch on and off about every 3 seconds. The icon in the upper right corner switches between the Wifi symbol, a question mark, and the three dot symbols. My local internet has been acting up, but we use several other devices without trouble. I tried re-installing network manager, but the problem persists. Today I had to put my computer in airplane mode, when I turned it back on it did not detect any networks. I searched online and fixed it by following gavtalor's answer to question 97160. My computer now connects to my network, but it still switches on and off. Does anyone have an idea of what could be causing this?
I have fedora 20.
I have almost the same problem on Fedora 25. When I log in, airplane mode flickers on and off multiple times. At some point, it stops flickering and airplane mode stays enabled, after which I have to manually disable airplane mode. By the way, my laptop has a airplane mode button on the keyboard. This only happens on Gnome (not on KDE).
