No wayland session when using hybrid graphics on Fedora 26 alpha

I have a Dell M4600 laptop with hybrid Intel + Nvidia Quadro 1000M graphics. When I enable Optimus in setup, Fedora 26 alpha live USB boots fine, but according to sessionctl it is using an X session and no wayland / weston. Probably because of that I get some serious tearing when scrolling.

Should wayland run on hybrid graphics in this case? Is there anything to force it when using Live USB image? If not, are there plans to support it in Fedora 26?

On the other hand, I must admit that despite using X and tearing issues, it runs quite smoothly, and it even detects a second display connected through DisplayPort. And my DisplayPort is hard wired to Nvidia chip with no hardware multiplexer, so offloading works properly! It is really amazing.
