I have a Wacom Intuos Pro PTH660P,

How can I use it as input in Gnome 3 Fedora 25, or for that matter in any program, like Gimp, Inkscape or Krita?

The Gnome menu (ironically) called "Wacom tablet" doesn't detect any tablet. (The tablet is connected by USB cable and turned on).

I have installed all packages related to Wacom via dnf. The tablet works well on Windows.

When I connect the tablet via USB, dmesg reports:

[ 498.093638] usb 3-2: USB disconnect, device number 2
[ 506.096506] usb 3-2: new full-speed USB device number 4 using xhci_hcd

These are the version numbers of the packages:

Some progress, when disconnected the Bluetooth system detects "LE IntuousPro M", however the connection fails when trying to pair.

Wacom's Intuos Pro To Be Supported By The Linux 4.11 Kernel. Fedora 25 has Kernel 4.9,

(the question is then which Fedora version will ship 4.11?)

Look here to see which kernels are being tested and released for different versions of Fedora:

Very useful info. Thanks. From what I see it is very likely that F26 will use 4.11.0 . Who knows if indeed the table will be supported in 4.11.0 exactly, or in 4.11.xx or one will have to wait for another 6 months, and even more for the Bluetooth pairing to work.

Now Fedora 25 has Kernel 4.11 and as promised Intuous Pro works with it. Wired at least, I coudn't make it work with Bluetooth yet.

Correction, it now work with bluetooth as well, if you know how pair it (press the + button until the blue light turns on).

Connection by bluetooth is choppy and when it works is not as smooth as when connected by wire.
