Quickly connect to a bluetooth device
Hello together,
I used Ubuntu Gnome for a long time and switched over to Fedora now. When I'm at home I pair my laptop with a bluetooth conector to hear sound from my laptop via the connector over my sound system.
To pair the connector I have to open the bluetooth settings, select the device and click the connection slider, which is a bit annoying every day.
Is there any way to modify the bluetooth panel in the top right to behave like the wifi panel? That there is a "Select Device" option where you can easily try to connect to a list of paired devices.
I searched the extensions but found nothing useful.
Thanks in advance!
I feel you brother and am searching for exactely the same. I used a program under Ubuntu/Budgie (which is based on Gnome) that did exactely that! Also with much better and more robust pairing and device management. I think it was Blueman. But this is kind of discontinued and exists for Fedora only as an alpha. Maybe give it a shot though! Edit: Just tried it: It is not really operable. Stay away from it. If you have ever come by a solution, please let me know.
I will! I am still searching and probably have a lot of problems with bluetooth and sound over bluetooth :-( WIll open a extra question for this.
