Does steam work on fedora 25?

I followed this, verbatim, to get the 32 bit libraries for AMD and Nvidia https://linuxconfig.org/installing-st...

When I launch steam from the terminal I get: Running Steam on fedora 25 64-bit STEAM_RUNTIME is enabled automatically Installing breakpad exception handler for appid(steam)/version(0)

It hangs forever at that last line. I've verified I have all the 32 bit versions.

Anyone else have this problem?

Hey,

Steam working on Fedora 25. All games what I have tested are working.

I recommend to use this Repo: http://negativo17.org/steam/

I've uninstalled steam and followed these instructions.

Same problem :/

EDIT: I did a fresh install of Fedora25 and used the repo you linked. Works fine :)

Thank you kindly

▶ sudo dnf -y install steam Last metadata expiration check: 0:00:46 ago on Thu Mar 23 18:00:03 2017. Error: nothing provides libva-intel-driver(x86-32) needed by steam-1.0.0.54-7.fc25.i686 (try to add '--allowerasing' to command line to replace conflicting packages)

Why

@eexpss You may have luck with RPM Fusion ( https://rpmfusion.org/ ). After setting up their free and nonfree repositories I was able to install steam via dnf, which grabbed steam from rpmfusion-nonfree-updates and libva-intel-driver from rpmfusion-free-updates.
