Trouble connecting to wifi via terminal and app.
When I try to connect to my home wifi network using terminal, this message pops up: (nmcli connection up id * Error: Connection activation failed: No suitable device found for this connection.). When I enter the network connections app it will show me wifi networks and ethernet that I have used, but i can only edit the settings for them and I don't see a connect button. Ethernet works fine, wifi works on windows (dual-booted). Please tell me what other information I need to add since I am a fedora noob. Thanks for all the help!
Can you install
sudo dnf install NetworkManager-tui
and try nmtui-connect or nmtui-edit on the terminal, see if those tools help you.Firstly you have to choose the device with nmcli:
