Fedora 25 Shutdown/Suspend Hang - Asus TP300L

This is my first time asking a question on Fedora (and using Fedora) so please pardon any community rules I might be breaking. I have been Ubuntu user for quite some time now and recently switch to Fedora 25.

I switched to Fedora 25 on 3 machines viz. Dell Inspiron 15, Asus TP300L, and Dell Chromebook (running custom BIOS). Except for Asus TP300L, all the machines are working as expected. No issues. But on Asus TP300L, I just cannot get the Suspend and Shutdown to work normally on constant basis.

Here's the thing I noticed, shutting down/suspending works without hitch when doing so soon after turning on the laptop (from cold boot). Let's say if I powered on the machine in morning and suspend/shutdown after 30 - 40 minutes, it works. But suspending/shutdown hangs if I do it at night.

I have tried to set kernel parameters to force turn off/on acpi, and other generic stuff found here and StackOverflow but I just cannot get it to work reliably. Hence this question, my last attempt to get this thing working.

Lastly, I am running the latest Kernel i.e. 4.9.13-200.fc25.x86_64 with all updates installed as of March 4, 2017 (EST). And I would for sure love to provide logs but please mention which one to share since I cannot pin point this issue to particular sub-system.

if something acts up, it usually can be seen from journalctl -xe so that is what I would try first. Post it in a code block on here.
