I have 2 wifi adapters - one is an integrated, and the another is a dongle. I have chosen this solution temporarily, until I don't get new card into my laptop. The old wifi card went to sporadic/randomly catching the 90% signal, and seems to me to will die. Turning off the wifi module within my laptop is not a solution, because will knock off the bluetooth, and the 3g modem either. I would like to make primarily the wifi dongle instead of the card driver. My question is how can I do it? Is there any option to select output hardware by network manager? TY.

PS: The dongle is an TPLINK, with Realtek RTL8188EUS 802.11n Wireless Network Adapter based on lsusb.

You can choose the interface to use in the connection settings.

I have compiled the driver, and inserted it successfully, yet still can't reach the network adapter. The network manager see the adapter, but no active wifi is listed in the app, and marks as disabled.
