How to enable automatic suspend?
UPDATE: Automatic suspend is working now. Sorry for the false alarm.
My Fedora 25 does not suspend after inactivity, the power button stays blue (not blinking). However, it immediately goes into suspend from the command line:
$ systemctl suspend
The power button is blinking during suspend, and pressing the power button wakes the PC.
I left the PC on overnight, but it did not suspend.
From Tweaks tool:
Power > When Power Button is Pressed, Action: Suspend (default suspend after 15 min inactivity)
Power > When Laptop Lid is Closed, Don't suspend on lid close: OFF
I did not find "suspend timer" in BIOS. However, BIOS has options for "Hibernate timer" and "Wake from S3"
I appended two lines to end of /etc/systemd/logind.conf (not needed, auto suspend worked without this):
IdleAction=suspend
IdleActionSec=15min
I am running Fedora 25 with Gnome 3.22.2 on a Haswell Intel NUC Kit D54250WYK, Intel Core i5-4250U. This not a laptop (no lid to close). The NUC is a mini PC.
BIOS Version 0042 Fixed an issue where the NUC can't wake up from S3 by pressing the power button in Linux. I updated the BIOS to the latest version 0044.
