Install Fedora 17 in a Box with 4gb of Memory?

Installing fedora 17 from cd is not booted wiht 4GB of memory, scrrenn remain black after BIOS messages, no mesages at all, on acer Aspire 9420, if bank of 2GB is removed it working fine. Once installed on hard disk and reboot it is the same problem, 4GB is bad, 2GB is good

Obviously you need the 64-bit version (or install kernel PAE), please read, when you migrate to a different operating system, you should investigate. San Google and Wikipedia are your best friends.

You might have a bad RAM-Module. You can try to verify this by adding the module to another computer and, if it boots, running memtest from their live cd.
