Kernel driver not installed (rc=-1908)

The VirtualBox Linux kernel driver (vboxdrv) is probably not loaded. You may not have kernel driver installed for kernel that is runnig, if so you may do as root: dnf install akmod-VirtualBox kernel-devel-$(uname -r)If you installed VirtualBox packages and don't want reboot the system, you may need load the kernel driver, doing as root: akmods; systemctl restart systemd-modules-load.service

where: suplibOsInit what: 3 VERRVMDRIVERNOTINSTALLED (-1908) - The support driver is not installed. On linux, open returned ENOENT

Have you already tried out the things the error message proposes? If yes, what exactly was the output? If no, why haven't you?

I assume that this happened today after patching Fedora 25? At least my VirtualBox did this today and I temporary fixed this:

sudo setenforce 0 (Disables SELinux) sudo /sbin/vboxconfig (Fixes VirtualBox)

After Rebooting your system these commands has to be run again. I assume that FIX is on the way and you should not need to do this for long.

I'm a beginner Linux user and there might be much better way to fix this, but I had to do something and fast to get back to work. So those commands helped me.

The fix is available now, so setenforce 0 and dnf update should fix this problem.
