Struggling to find a multi-monitor setup that works for my Lenovo X1 running Fedora 25

Hardware:

  • Lenovo X1 Carbon Type 20BT
    • Graphics: Intel Corporation HD Graphics 5500 (rev 09)
    • Outputs: Mini DisplayPort, HDMI, USB 3.0, USB 2.0
  • Lenovo Upright Docking Station
    • Video Outputs
      • 1 DVI-I
      • 1 Display Port
    • Asus 24" 1080 @60 Hz Monitor - HDMI/VGA inputs
    • Asus 27" 1440 @75 Hz Monitor - HDMI/DisplayPort/VGA input

I'm struggling to find a combination of the above that makes both of my displays work properly. The primary thing I've tried is using the DVI and DisplayPort ports on my docking station. I can make each display work individually, using either a DVI->HDMI cable, or a straight DisplayPort connector to the 27" screen. However using the DisplayPort, I can only get the display to work @60 Hz, not the full 75.. I get the wavy lines across the screen when I try to force it to 75.

I've also tried a USB 3 to dual HDMI outs that I picked up form Best Buy, but it seems it requires a special driver which they do not make for Linux.

Any other advice on what I might try would be helpful. Thanks.
