System Update does not refresh repositories info.

I have recently found out that when I start System Update on Gnome-Shell it does not refresh my repositories info. When I launch it says that there are no updates available, however when I enter command "yum update" as root it finds them and downloads. I'd like to know whether it's my fault or a common bug that should be reported.

It's very important because some less experienced users count only on this application so they are still experiencing freezes which were fixed on the begin of this week.

It's been fixed or maybe I have fixed it somehow. I repeat that the problem was in gnome update program which wasn't updating package lists of repositories before trying to update. We can't be sure if anyone else had such problem, so if there would be any problems which would look like a fixed bug write them to run "sudo yum update" from terminal.

you would try

su -c 'yum update -y'

or use PostInstallerF (its update all repo and system)

how to install?

su

wget -c http://sourceforge.net/projects/postinstaller/files/Fedora%2016/PostInstaller_installerF16.tar.gz

cd $HOME/PostInstaller_installerF16/

sh PostInstaller_installerF16.sh
