Wifi not staying connected and will not reconnect Fedora 25

Hi When I boot to Fedora 25 on my Compaq CQ57 , with a Realtek Semiconductor Co. Ltd RTL8188CE 802.11b/g/n Wifi Adapter, the Wifi will connect and stays connected for 2 to 3 minutes then it drops out and will not reconnect.

According to the Wifi Settings / Network Page my machine can see my Wifi Router, my neighbours Wifi Routers etc and if I set up a hotspot on my phone it can see that as well but can not connect.

Is there some hardware test I could run to see if it is the Adapter that has a hardware fault or is there a software test I can run to see if it is software that is causing this problem. ( I have a very good sneaker network that will allow me to take stuff from on line and load it on the laptop).

PS I hope that I have provide enough information if not just tell me what you need and if possible how to get it I am not a computer guru more of a Shade Tree Mechanic
