Blu-Ray Playback [closed]
My laptop came with a built-in blu-ray player. How do I play blu-ray discs? Do I need to install third-party software?

Try installing VLC and libdvdcss. Yes, generally Blu-Ray playback requires some 3rd party software and codecs to be installed to function.

A quick Google search will give you your answer. There is no legally licensed software available for Linux. You can try the "dump" software to copy the movie to your hard drive and play it, but any follow up questions should be asked on a different site.
Yes, you need a 3rd party software that can work with your built-in Blu-ray player. VLC is only for non-commercial Blu-ray Disc. Macgo Mac Blu-ray Player is finally what you look for.
as far as i know mplayer supports blu-ray and is in fedora repo
