The power option looks pretty weird to me.
The first time i unchecked Dim when inactive
But when inactive, the screen brightness goes down and when i go to the power options the screen brightness gets automatically adjusted. Is this a bug or is there a workaround?
Does this rhbz#745977 describe what you are seeing? I asked a similar question and I was re-directed there.
Which desktop environment? You might want to check the power manager component in bugzilla and file a new bug report with more details if necessary.
