F25 live session runs at 10 frames pr. min, cursor locked

I've attempted to install F25 on a PC with a GTX 1070, but upon running the live session for installation, the cursor is stuck in the upper left corner, and when I use the keyboard to navigate applications the screen updates at roughly 10 frames pr. minute (yes, not a mistake, it takes about 6 seconds or more pr. UI-change to occur).

Any suggestions on getting it running? /: I would prefer Wayland if possible. Running from USB on a regular PC.

I have a GTX 1080 and ran into the same problem. Looks like this is a known issue with the nouveau driver and certain GTX devices, and the patch to fix it is pending for the 4.10 kernel:

https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug....

As a workaround, I was able to get normal responsiveness from the keyboard during the Live session by disabling Wayland:

  1. Append WaylandEnable=false to /etc/gdm/custom.conf
  2. Run telinit 3 to stop Wayland
  3. Login and run telinit 5 to run X

This got me to where I could at least use keyboard navigation to install Fedora 25 on the system. I then booted the system in single user mode, installed the nvidia drivers, and was able to start up a graphical session with the keyboard and mouse working properly.
