Make your python executable... well, "executable" (chmod +x yourexecutable) and create a .desktop file in your ~/.config/autostart directory

.desktop template below:

[Desktop Entry] Categories=<can be="" utility;="" and="" so="" on..&gt;="" comment="&lt;Put" a="" comment="" here=""> Encoding=UTF-8 Exec=<path_to_your_executable> Hidden=true Name=<its name="" here=""> Terminal=false Type=Application Version=1.0
