Revision history [back]

I recently purchased the exact same enclosure and ran in to the same problem. I had to create /etc/modprobe.d/uas.conf and add:

options usb-storage quirks=0357d:07788:u

and then I rebuilt the initrd and rebooted. More info can be at: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=204256

I don't use fedora, but it should work just the same for you.

The problem is the uas module. The quirks=0357d:07788:u is your vendor id and product id.
