Personally, I prefer LibreOffice because it is included in Fedora's base repositories and it latest updates include better compatibility with MS Office. Also, this tool saves on Open Document Format (ODF) which is a real ISO standard for documents.

Other option you have is the combination Abiword + Gnumeric + Impressive. Aldo these three applications are independent, their combination is an interesting choice.

Finally, if you are using a KDE environment I suggest you to try KOffice, which is the default office suite for that desktop environment.

Extra: Kingsoft Office Suite 2013. Its interface is very similar to MS Office and it has a great compatibility but is a third-party application and you have to buy it (there's a free version of it).
