However, I'd recommend just configuring kdm to suit your needs since installing gdm will pull in quite a few libraries.
Please note that from F20 onwards, KDM is no longer the login manager for KDE. They've switched to SDDM. Details here: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Changes/SDDMinsteadOfKDM
