You should have chosen a lightweight Fedora Spin such as Fedora XFCE or Fedora LXDE or even better the netinstall image. If you can do a new installation I'd suggest downloading and booting with Fedora-Server-netinst-x86_64-29-1.2.iso You can choose your selection of packages. There is a minimal system option which will install a minimal selection of packages and you could add other packages as well. Choose your collection of packages during installation or install what you need afterward, as usual, with dnf.
